  • SORRY SOLD -  This 1951 Ford Custom 2Dr. Sedan comes with a V/8 Ford Flathead, three speed manual on the column and a body off restoration of a rust free original. Beautiful Black paint and perfectly straight body panels. Undercarriage and frame blasted, primed and painted. All stainless has been polished, all bumpers and bumper guards have been rechromed. All new glass and weather stripping. Dual rearview side mirrors, working radio, NOS. radio antenna, new taillights and turn signals housing spears and lenses. Original column turn signal switch, working indicator lights. Sealed beam head lights with high beams and dash indicator light. Interior and trunk have been reupolstered in red naugahyde, also the car has been fully recarpeted. NOS. passenger assist straps, interior lighting and dash lighting. All original dash knobs and dash accessories, new glove compartment, working clock, new Ford main lighting switch, new speedometer face and plastic lens, new dash lighting. Ventilation system and heater controls work, all was restored to new condition. New gas tank and sender, also electric fuel pump and auxilliary gas gauge, temp and oil pressure gauges, are mounted under dash. All senders can be rerouted to the original dash gauges, but I prefer to rely on more reliable information for fuel,oil pressure and temperature. The engine runs with the electric coolant fan, and is controlled automatically by a thermostat. It has new hoses, heater and radiator. All new suspension is new including King Pins, wheel bearings, tie rod ends, shocks, new brakes, and new brake lines, new brake master cylinder. The steering box was professionally rebuilt, so the steering is tight and accurate. The engine is a crack free 8BA bored 60 over that feeds a rebuilt 3 speed transmission no overdrive. Also has a new clutch. The engine has a new cam, rod bearings, new valve springs and guides. The engine also has Johnson adjustable solid lifters. All new seals and gaskets. New water pumps and belts, new oil pump, new Holley 94 carburetor and original air cleaner. New head and manifold bolts, new Fel Pro Head gaskets, dual manifolds into Smitty Glass pack mufflers with chrome extensions. One wire 12V GM alternator complete new wiring through out. Ect.
